Not sure what to do with your growing collection of t-shirts? Turn them into a cozy, memory-filled quilt! In this hands-on, 3 day workshop, you’ll learn how to transform shirts (from sports teams, concerts, school events, or special memories) into a functional, sentimental and one-of-a-kind, blanket by sewing them together and creating your very own unique keepsake. Session/Day 1 will be an information day, where participants will learn what materials are needed and how to prepare your shirts. While session 2 and 3 will be cutting, assembling, and sewing your t-shirt quilt. This workshop focuses on creating the quilt top, with all required materials and instructions provided, followed by guidance and suggestions on how to finish the quilt on your own. Participants are required to: have a basic knowledge of sewing and sewing machine use, and bring in at least 25 t-shirts to create your quilt. Space in this workshop is limited to create individual attention & personalized instruction for hands-on learning, so sign up soon! Max 6.
