Have you ever made ice cream? Do you know how the ingredients change during the process? This class is designed for participants to have fun, end up with a tasty frozen treat, and learn about the interesting chemistry that goes on during the process of making ice cream. We will be using the simple technique of freezer bags and ice to explore what mixtures, freezing, and chemistry can do. Bring your questions! Participants are encouraged to ask questions, and investigate & seek answers through exploration and critical thinking! There will even be an ice cream social at the end of class where we’ll taste test our final products with a variety of different flavors of syrups, and multiple toppings to choose from! Come have fun and learn science concepts in this STEM class. Class Minimum: 6, Class Maximum: 20
