Curious about what happens inside one of Long Prairie’s largest local employers? Join us for a guided, behind-the-scenes tour of American Foods Group – Long Prairie Packing Co, where participants will learn about the packing process, visit the fabrication department, and even visit the harvest production floor. Gain insight into how their products are processed, prepared, and handled safely, while learning about the roles and responsibilities involved in this industry. When registering, please include your shoe size, as protective foot coverings will be provided and are required for all participants.
Please note: Participants must follow all facility safety and food safety requirements, including appropriate attire and a strict no-photography policy. Additional safety details will be provided at registration and must be acknowledged in advance.
Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to review safety guidelines and prepare for the tour.
